In this comprehensive two-day immersive learning experience, you will learn to how to make the most out of the OE elements (Change Enablement, Organization Design and People Effectiveness) of your organization to enable the whole organization to work in service of its strategic vision.

Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is the concept of how effective an organization is in achieving the outcomes the organization intends to produce. OE experts in organizations directly concern themselves with several key areas. They are talent management, leadership development, organization design and structure, design of measurements and scorecards, implementation of change and transformation, deploying smart processes and smart technology to manage the firms’ human capital and the formulation of the broader OE agenda Typically, OE group does many or all of the following roles:

  • Examines alignment between the areas and improves them

  • Improves trade-offs between reliability, speed and quality in the above areas

  • Strategies for higher adoption rates in these areas

  • Facilitates/initiates/catalyses capability building: structure, process and people

Paul successfully led and supported business transformations across a variety of industries, making significant progress in reducing costs and improving operating effectiveness. Paul worked extensively in the emerging markets of Europe and The Middle East (du, Gazprom, Norconsult, Global Medical Solutions, Sadara Chemical Company, Willis Towers Watson, Mercer Consulting, Oliver Wyman and more recently Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation). Prior to this, during his career in Canada he worked as a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) consultant with ORIS Creative Solutions supporting many organizations on the Fortune’s list “100 Best Companies to Work for in America”.

This training provides participants with the introduction core principles, models, tools and examples of OE for those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of this topic and to learn useable OE frameworks.

It addresses the core building blocks of OE, and how to put them together to support strategy, including customer focused organization and organizational approaches to facilitate innovation and reconfigurability around opportunities and strategies. It provides a foundation of knowledge to guide OE and of tools to use in leading the OE interventions.

Training is delivered in by utilizing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) where our trainer is using a teaching method in which complex real-world problems are utilized as the vehicle to promote learning of OE concepts and principles as opposed to direct presentation of facts and concepts.

In addition to course content, our PBL approach promotes the development of critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. The idea is to make the most out of the opportunities for working in groups, finding and evaluating research materials, and life-long learning.
