HCI's Human Capital Strategist Certification Program is a training and certification course designed to address the strategic issues at the intersection of human capital and business: maximizing talent strategies, implementing strategic workforce planning, engaging talent, and developing employees to their fullest potential.

HCS is built on a foundation of talent management research and best practices, and is guided by HCI’s Talent Management model. Throughout the class, you will participate with your peers in activities designed to help you practice new skills and apply them to your own work. What You’ll Learn
HCS is a highly interactive course that prepares new and entry-level human capital practitioners to move beyond tactical skills and into more strategic roles within their organizations and careers. This course will help you build a roadmap to influence human capital management drivers and create a competitive advantage in your organization.

  • Human Resources - Talent Management is the strategic dimension of traditional HR, and is the future of the field. HR professionals must understand the nuances of this area, and recognize how they can become experts in it to increase the value of their organization and advance their own careers.

  • Recruitment and Sourcing - Long-term, effective recruitment is about strategy, not commodity sourcing. Strong sourcing and access to critical talent pools have a direct effect on business outcomes.   • Learning and Development - Industrial-era management practices are ineffective at best, and detrimental at worst.
